We kept missing errors. An agent would hit a TypeError in one pane while we were focused on another. By the time we noticed, the agent had been stuck for 20 minutes. We needed something that watches ALL panes simultaneously and screams when something goes wrong. The key insight: error detection doesn't need AI. A TypeError looks the same every time. 'npm ERR!' is always 'npm ERR!'. Pattern matching catches 95% of errors at zero cost — no API calls, no tokens, just regex running on terminal output.
